Write Black Cat stories and use classic art to illustrate them!

Do you want to be writer? Do you want to put your story out there for people to read? Sure you do!

With NUELOW Games Stock Art Collection #1: The Original Black Cat in Action, you can draw inspiration from art by Lee Elias and you can write stories accordingly. And when you're done, you can post them online, fully illustrated with artwork that you have license to use. Pictures draw people's attention, so they will be more likely to read your story.

If you're just looking for some art to use in hour home projects, such as hand-outs for players at your weekly table-top RPG session, you might find the headshots by Karl M. useful,

Whatever your reason for getting this set, it is almost certain to fill any need you may have for illustrations of a girl wearing a swimsuit and pirate boots while beating up bad guys. (And just to show we're not complete sexist pigs here at NUELOW Games, this collection also includes the cover illo from ROLF!: Bathtime on Bear Creek.)

NUELOW Games Stock Art Collection #1: The Original Black Cat features 28 line drawings (with four presented in both black-and-white and color, for a total of 32 images) that are being made available under a simple, royalty-free license. Once you buy this set, the art is yours to use as you will with a few simple restrictions. To make the set easy to use, the download includes a pdf format booklet that indexes all the images and a zip archive with separate jpg files for each one. (The booklet also contains Black Cat trivia for the true hardcore fans--of which there is probably only one, and his name is Steve Miller.)

Oh... and if you do write some Black Cat fiction, we might want to publish it in a future issue of Film Fun Comics. Remember, the NUELOW Games version of Black Cat isn't limited to the 1940s. With the revised background for her that we presented in Film Fun Comics Vol. 2: The Black Cat vs. HIM! and ROLF!: Bat Meets Cat, Black Cat stories can be set any time from the 1700s through today.

Drop us a line if you have any questions or comments... we love to hear from our audience.

It's International James Bond Day!

We have a ROLF! release planned in celebration, but the nefarious Agents of HUMMUS (Human Underlings of the Martian Military Unified Services  and the sinister forces of POTS (People's Organization for Terrorism and Socialism) raided our offices and absconded with L.L. Hundal and the computer files for ROLF!: "Bond. Jane Bond."

We're still hoping that she wlll be rescued in time for us to release the product for Bond Day--but if all else fails we'll put it out to coincide with the new James Bond film Skyfall. (And for the record, the NUELOW Games staff thinks that this looks like the first real Bond movie in quite some time--Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace don't count; they may have aspired to be Bond movies, but they didn't hit the mark.

Meanwhile, by way of a preview of ROLF!: "Bond. Jane Bond.", here's the cover illo by Charles Baskerville and Karl M.), as well as game stats for Agent 002, the ultimate Bond Girl!

JANE BOND, AGENT 002 (Female)
Brawn 31; Body 16; Brains 11.
Traits: Dead-Eye, Hard to Kill, Improv Master, Nimble, Stone Cold Killer
Combat Maneuvers: Basic Attack, Bitch Slap, Disembowel, Dodge, Double Strike, Murderous Mitts, Seduce, Signature Move, Strike Pose, Sure Shot, The Look.
Important Stuff Worn/Wielded: Designer Evening Gown (Clothes). Mini-bombs (Ranged Weapons. 3 shots. Attached to dress. Deals 2 points of damage, ignores armor.) Automatic Pistol (Ranged Weapon. 10 shots. Deals 2 points of damage), Knife (Melee Weapon. Deals 2 points of damage).

And here are the two reasons we here at NUELOW are excited about the new Bond flick, which will be in theaters in November. First, there's the theme song--it's a proper James Bond theme song unlike the crap that opened the last two movies.

And then there's this... the preview that made me think that this is going to be the first real James Bond movie since Daniel Craig took over the role.

It looks like it's going to be lots of fun! (Speaking of fun, you might also want to take a look at The Sheik: A Literary (?) Spoof, a ROLF! supplement containing a short story by Robert E. Howard that DID make it through our process successfully! Check here to see previews and get a copy.

Another Pre-Generated Character

If there's a celebrity we here at NUELOW Games love more than Chuck Norris, it's Conan O'Brien. We love him so much that when Steve Miller pointed out to L.L. Hundal that the 20th anniversary of the premiere of "Leprechaun" with Jennifer Aniston is coming up soon, she devised a product that includes him as a pre-generated character. You can look for "Jennifer vs. The Leprechaun" later this week, but for now....

Without further ado... it's Cooooonan O'Briiiiiieeeen!

CONAN O’BRIEN (Male)
Brawn: 14; Body: 13; Brains: 6.
Traits: Irrepresible Optimist
Combat Maneuvers: Basic Attack, Debate Philosophy, Disarm, Infectious Good Cheer, Murderous Mitts, Strike Pose.

New ROLF! Combat Scenario now available

The latest supplement for "ROLF!: The Rollplaying Game of Big Dumb Fighters" is epic! Well, epic by ROLF! standards. Click here to get your copy from RPGNow for just $1, or read on to be convinced you want a copy of Supermodel Slapfest!

Six supermodels are trapped in a building with a whiny fashion designer and a hunky handyman... and a murderer out to get them all! Sounds like the teaser summary for a slasher film, but it's actually the subject of the latest supplement for ROLF!: The Rollplaying Game of Big Dumb Fighters.

Dangerously close to being a real adventure (as opposed to the usual stuff where characters meet, characters kick each other into oblivion), this 10-page product features new Combat Maneuvers, new Stuff (both Armor and Weapons), eight pre-generated player characters, as well as the maniac who is trying to kill them. Well, who probably will kill them if the egomaniacal supermodels don't kill each other first.

As an added feature, there's a system for secretly making one of the "victims" the killer--just like in the slasher flicks where there has to be a "Big Reveal"--and no one knows who the murderer is until the time is right.

"ROLF: Supermodel Slapfest" is avaiable for just $1! Get yours today!

Yes, I am available for commissions.

A great artist was lost to the world when I chose to become a writer....

That's a portrait of Bigfoet, the Tyrolian Yeti, as will be seen in the upcoming NUELOW Games release "Icing Oetzi: A ROLF! Historical Recreation".
