ROLF! for the iPhone is now available!

The ROLF! iPhone app game is now available in the iTunes store! Yay! Click here to check it out!

The app comes with a printable copy of the original "ROLF!: The Rollplaying Game for Big Dumb Fighters" so you can use the app based on the table-top game so you can play the table-top game!

The game features art and character portraits by Larry Elmore (just like the basic game and the first few supplements... as well as some that are coming up, as we drag Elmore back into the madness that is ROLF!)

Rick will be adding combat scenarios, characters, and such. And please let us know what you think of it, either on the iTunes site, here, or via email to me. :)

(Oh... and given the disclaimers on the game, Apple must be quite sensitive to violence and nudity. Or I'm desensitized to it.)

Discount price on "The Deadly Sword of Cormac" extended!

Cover art from "The Deadly Sword of Cormac," by Larry Elmore & Karl M.
It was a slow week for NUELOW Games at DriveThruRPG.com (what with the site being FUBAR for much of it) but our second fiction anthology did well enough to knock "ROLF!" from its long-held #1 spot on our top-sellers list.

Robert E. Howard completed two Cormac FitzGeoffrey stories, and this budget-priced e-book collects both in once place. Get your copy for 33% off and bring more sword-swinging action from the creator of Conan into your life!

If you're a big fan of Howard--like everyone here at NUELOW Central is--you also don't miss our first anthology, "From Dark Corners," which features three of his chilling horror stories. Click here to read more, and perhaps even get a copy of your own.

The coming of the Brothers Barbarian!

Here's the premiere episode of a web-series written by and co-starring a former co-worker of mine, Ken Whitman. It also features fantasy artist Larry Elmore in what I assume is his screen debut... in a role where he's dressed (and barely dressed) like many of the characters he's painted over the years.

I'll have to see if I can get permission for a "ROLF!: The Rollplaying Game of Big Dumb Fighters" tie-in! :)

The Women of Elmore

Fantasy artist Larry Elmore was one of the major reasons TSR, Inc. and its roleplaying games became as popular as they did. His iconic fantasy images, particularly the paintings and character designs he created for the "Dragonlance" property, fueled the imaginations of a generation.

Elmore's lines grace numerous NUELOW Games releases, with his illustrations being virtually part and parcel with the "ROLF!: The Rollplaying Game of Big Dumb Fighters" line, but also appearing on the cover of our first Robert E. Howard anthology "The Deadly Sword of Cormac." We consider ourselves fortunate to have license to use his art in our products.

Here's a selection of beautiful ladies that have sprung from his pen and brush over the years.
