We've just released a new card game -- Bloodlust. It's for 3-6 players and it uses a standard poker deck, plus Jesters. It is set in a nightclub during the days with goths roamed the streets and Bahuas ruled the night.

There's always something that ends up on the proverbial cutting room floor, and it's even good stuff some times. Like the variant game of Bloodlust that didn't make it in. Three were designed, only two were used. But the third one is now here on the blog for your reference when you have mastered the basic game.
VARIANT 3: "Hunter's Moon" (High Stakes)
For experienced players who want more risk:
When a Joker is played, instead of discarding all Hearts, each player must discard half their collected Hearts (rounded down)
Add a third Joker to the deck for more chaos
Diamonds are worth 2 points instead of 1 (to reward the difficulty of playing them)
This variant makes Jokers less devastating but more frequent, and rewards players who can successfully navigate the Diamond rules.
Bloodlust is available at DriveThruCards and DriveThruRPG.
